French star Robert Consani, who lit up the FIA European Rally Championship stages in his Citroën DS3 R5 in 2015, says that the ERC has been fundamental in establishing his international credentials as a top driver.

Having competed in the championship since 2013, Consani has steadily made progress with increasingly advanced machinery, finishing a career-best fourth overall in the standings this year after regularly challenging for podiums.
“The turning point in my career was definitely coming to the ERC. It’s a championship that has enabled me to improve in every way, and each day I learn something new in it,” said Consani.
Consani, who had a new co-driver and new pacenote system this year as well as a brand new car, will compete in the ERC again in 2016 – and this time he is targeting a top-three finish overall.
“It’s been a very long road to achieve everything we have up to now, but I’m proud of our accomplishments. With another year of experience behind me, I’m sure we can do even better,” he concluded.
